1. Draw or trace the work you intend to carry out on to pieces of greaseproof paper. Greaseproof paper is used because it is thin, transparent and will lie flat under the waxed paper. 2. Allow for breakages by tracing more than required. Surplus runouts will keep indefinitely if stored in boxes in single layers. 3. Place tracings on pieces of Perspex, glass, tiles or any material that is flat and will not bend. Avoid having more than one or two drawings on each board. Runouts are less likely to be damaged 35 if well spaced.
