We particularly encourage candidates with research interests in the Carolinas. I will be discussing how culture is used in anthropology, how it has seeped out into other fields of research and also its uses in normal everyday life. S., the Middle East, Albania, Greece, Central America, the Caribbean, and Kenya. Visits ancient sites on the Yucatan Peninsula where new findings are forcing a reappraisal of the past of the Mayans.
